Coupling Alignment with Magnetic Gauge Base

Install the magnetic gauge base at the junction of the pump and motor coupling and note the reading on the gauge at this point (this is the first turn).

Turn the magnetic gauge 90 degrees (this is the second time) and remember the reading.

Turn 90 degrees again (this is the third time) and note the reading.

Turn 90 degrees one last time (this is the fourth) and remember the reading.

Compare the difference between the four readings. If the tolerance is within 0.1mm, it means that coupling alignment is correct.
