Brief Introduction to the Test Process of Split Case Double Suction Pump
The test process of thes plit case double suction pump mainly includes the following steps:
1. Test Preparation
Before the test, start the motor to ensure that the motor is in the correct direction. Use a micrometer to measure the runout value of the pump coupling and the motor coupling, and adjust them by adding a gasket to the motor base to ensure that the runout of the pump coupling and the motor coupling is within 0.05mm. At the same time, check whether the pump rotor is stuck with the pump housing by turning the wheel. Install the inlet and outlet pipes and valves, connect the instrument terminals, and connect the vacuum water supply pipe. Turn on the vacuum pump, fill the pump with water, and remove the gas in the pump.
2. Pressure Test
2-1. The first water pressure test after rough machining: the test pressure is 0.5 times the design value, and the test medium is clean water at room temperature.
2-2. The second water pressure test after fine machining: the test pressure is the design value, and the test medium is also clean water at room temperature.
2-3. Air pressure test after assembly (only for mechanical seal): the test pressure is 0.3-0.8MPa, and the test medium is air.
During the pressure test, appropriate pressure test equipment, such as pressure test machine, pressure gauge, pressure test plate, etc., must be used, and ensure that the sealing method is correct. After the pressure test is completed, the performance test will be carried out.
3. Performance test
The performance test of the split case double suction pump includes the measurement of flow rate, speed and shaft power.
3-1. Flow measurement: The pump flow data can be directly displayed by the electromagnetic flowmeter or obtained from the intelligent flow speed meter.
3-2. Speed measurement: The pump speed data is directly displayed after the speed sensor transmits the signal to the intelligent flow speed meter.
3-3. Shaft power measurement: The input power of the motor is directly measured by the electrical parameter measuring instrument, and the motor efficiency is provided by the motor factory. The shaft power is the output power of the motor, and the calculation formula is P2=P1×η1 (where P2 is the output power of the motor, P1 is the input power of the motor, and η1 is the efficiency of the motor).
Through the above test process, the performance and quality of the split case double suction pump can be comprehensively evaluated to ensure that it meets the design requirements and usage needs.
